Dominant Guinea pig...

 Squeak! It's Gerant here, I've decided to blog now that Marlin's sleeping. I am definitely the dominant guinea pig. I protect Marlin, test all the food and guard our hutch. Wherever I go, all the jealous piggies ask how I became in charge, well:

• Eat all the food
• Defend the hutch
• And make your mark by pooing everywhere (trust me it works)

 I also show the humans who's in charge by exploring their hutch and, of course pooing everywhere.
This is my daily dominant piggie routine:

1. Wake up
2. Eat my breakfast
3. Wake up Marlin
4. Eat more food
5. Drink some water
6. Eat food
7. Sleep
8. Wake up
9. Eat food
10. Find out what that noise is
11. Look cute for more food
12. Eat the food
13. Get cuddled by the humans
14. Go to sleep

Here is me and Marlin's typical conversation:

G: Have you eaten any of my food?
M: No, I've only had a few pieces of kale
G: Okay, now look cute, I'm hungry
M: Here's the humans
G: FOOD!

Our Adoption Story...

Hi Guinea Pig Friends!

Today we are going to tell you the story of how we were adopted!

It all began when we lived in a pet shop and a lovely lady had to rescue us from the tiny cage we were in- even though she was allergic to us! She then took us to the National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford where we lived for a week before we were put on the website. That same day a family- who were very enthusiastic to get us- reserved us and were told to come one more time to ensure we could go back to their home!

Skip forward one week, our family was back as promised. They came into our hut, extremely excited and cuddled us for around half an hour knowing soon we'd have a great home! After NAWT checked their cage a few days later our family came to pick us up and take us to our great new home! :)
